TL;DR:
When you purchase a vending machine location for sale on Vending Village, your card is put on hold (not charged yet), the seller has 4 days to introduce you to the property manager, and the deal must be finalized or canceled within 7 days.
Vending machine location for sale: The Vending Village 7-day transaction process (step-by-step)
1) What “purchase” means (it’s a hold, not a charge)
When a buyer purchases a vending location, Vending Village places a hold on the credit card, the card is not charged immediately. The charge only happens when the order is finalized (or auto-finalized at the 7-day mark).
2) The 7-day clock (and the 4-day seller window)
There are two time gates that matter:
Seller has 4 days to introduce the buyer to the property manager and set the appointment date/time approved by both sides. If they don’t, the order is automatically canceled and the buyer is not charged.
The appointment date should be within 6 days of purchase. If it can’t be scheduled inside that window, the guidance is to cancel and repurchase closer to the meeting.
This is the part that makes “buying a vending route” or buying a single location operationally cleaner: everyone knows exactly what has to happen, by when.
3) Buyer review period: finalize or cancel (don’t let it auto-finalize)
After the introduction, the buyer’s job is simple: Meet the property manager and reach an agreement, then Finalize the order to complete the transaction.
Key rule: the maximum time to finalize or cancel is 7 days from purchase. If no action is taken, the order automatically finalizes.
4) Refund rules: full refund during the window, none after finalization
During the 7-day period, either side can cancel for a full refund if they provide a valid reason (examples listed include inaccurate listing description or inability to reach agreement with the property manager).
Once the order is finalized (including auto-finalization), it cannot be refunded.
5) Finalization & Payment
After the order is finalized, the buyer's card is charged and payment is released to the seller (after a 14-day holding period).
6) Order completed! (Leave a review)
After an order is finalized both buyer and seller are invited to review each other. This helps other vending operators who are looking to buy vending locations or getting ready to buy a vending machine, know who they are about to work with.
Once an order is finalized, it cannot be refunded. It's important to note that if the order isn’t finalized or canceled within 7 days from purchase, the transaction is automatically finalized, and no refunds will be available.
